What's A Long Weekend...

without some jobs around the house?

Here's Hubby's latest piece of handy-man-ness

I had a big empty space of wall and needed to fill it up. More pictures? Nah. Some shelves? Now that's a good plan but what to put on them? I know! Cookbooks.

Perfect.

Hmmm, that shelf looks very familiar to me! I got one like that as a birthday-present from my little Bro, it´s from a big Swedish Furniture Store, right?

Oh, you have a bread-machine? "Real" bread was the one thing I missed in Australia! And "real" breadrolls...

Perfect. I should've got Lyndon to build me a shelf in the kitchen for my cookbook collection...oh yeah, that's right, I DID ask him, about 12 odd months ago. Too late now - we'll be moving on out of here in under a months time...

LOL Iris. Yep, we've been spending up big at that Swedish Furniture Store and having a grand time too. And the bread machine? I'm onto my second one after I wore the first one out :) I mostly use it to make the dough and then bake the bread in the oven, I think it turns out nicer that way.

I feel your pain Melody. Luckily, after being in rentals the past couple of years Hubby is in full on handy-man mode :)

You've got the Women's Weekly "Kitchen" book! I found a copy in my local library (I'm too broke to go and buy my own) and spent a very happy few weeks cooking from it before I had to return it. It's a fantastic book and I envy you for owning it!
