The kids are fast asleep in bed, I'm eating chocolate and enjoying a cup of tea and all is quiet except for the steady drip of rain on the tin roof. And, because I stayed up too late watching a movie last night, I'm planning to have an early night. After a couple of weeks holiday the 6am alarm comes around way too early.
I so miss the sound of rain on a tin roof - or any roof/window, for that matter! Last time I had such a constant luxury, I was 22!

One of the funniest Oz movies - ever!
ReplyDeleteMy boy's helped me make em dunny roll robots - using left-over bit's and pieces of packing that came of the pressies they received this year.
I so nearly said: "That's going straight to the pool room" - but it simply would have been lost on 'em... oh well - I've still got years to indoctrinate them!
