Fairies Don't Stomp!

...or so I thought.

Looking sweet and demure

#2 loves dressing up so, at her Daddy's insistence, I caved in and bought her an el-cheapo fairy outfit from Red Dot. The dress was $7. The wand was $2 and lights up while it makes a 'magical' sound. And the delicate-looking (but suprising sturdy - thank goodness) little headpiece was also $2. She looked very cute - although she is not quite of fairy-like proportions - until she started stomping. The stomping is a new trick she learnt in the last week or so and she loves putting all her weight and effort into it.

Posing for the camera

So, a stomping fairy. Oxymoron, incongruous or both? You decide.

The real #2, looking more suited to football hooliganism than fairy-like-ness

She is as she looks, beautiful and a perfect fairy. Of course we are biased. Guess who this is from.

OMG Your baby is a little girl! How did that happen so quickly? Cute as a button and has definate fairy-like qualities...as compared to my own two fairies! Kazza

My goodness, she is so very much like her G'ma, in her younger days so cute and fairy like, but a tom- boy too.
Not that I am baised, noooooooo.
You were right RDM she is cute,
just like No 1.

My mom saw her picture and said, "Oh, how cute! Who is that?!" When I took ballet, we did a "dance" every week with goblins and fairies. Of course the fairies danced lightly and the goblins stomped around. Maybe #2 has just gotten the two mixed up!?!!! ;-) Hope you're having a great weekend.

Hi Nan and Pop! Perfect??? You need to come visit us, that would change your mind in a hurry LOL.

Hi Kaz - I really noticed the whole 'not a baby anymore' in these photos too, the first time I've seen it. It makes me sad, and then very happy, and then sad again!

Hi G'ma. I think you need to join Nan in the biased gang!

LOL Claire. I think she's probably a goblin most of the time!

Thanks Karen!
