Offspring #2 turns 2!

My baby is a baby no more. She turned two today and was the most feral, monster-like and generally horrible child you could imagine. Luckily her Nan and Pop are a little one-eyed and thought she wasn't so bad but, compared to her normal behaviour, she was a bloody nightmare!

However, in the aim of celebrating her birthday...

...she received lots of lovely presents including a bike (with trainer wheels) that she thinks is pretty darn fantastic, a mini trampoline with a bar to hold onto that comes a close second to the bike, a torch from her big brother (it has found a permanent home in the basket of her bike and she has just about worn out one set of batteries checking that it still works all day long) as well as lots of lovely clothes, more toys, dress ups, colouring stuff and lots of girly bits like necklaces, bracelets and the like. In all, she is one spoilt and very much loved little two-year old. We had her favourite meal - spaghetti bol with garlic bread - for dinner and a birthday cake with Hi-5 on it for dessert. She threw the spag bol about like there was no tomorrow, munched her way through her weight in garlic bread and oohed and aahed over her birthday cake before demolishing her piece. Now she is fast asleep and we're hoping she wakes up a little bit happier in the morning.

Two years old already?!?!? Wow. Has the time flown.

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY, LIBBY!!!!!

She is such a beautiful little girl and I know it's so hard to be an angel on those special days. Or maybe those "terrible two's" just kicked in right on the dot! lol

My oldest is closing in on his "milestone" birthday. It has a "2" in it but is then followed by a "1"....yep, he's almost 21. *gasp* Hard to believe. They do grow up too fast.

Give Libby and Ben a big hug from their American friend. And Mom deserves one too!

Is that a Princess b'day cake? It's Monet's b'day today (3) and I made a cake with the same piccie on it!

Monet can be horrible sometimes too and sometimes a good nights sleep doesn't solve it! *boo hoo*

Your little girl is so cute it is hard to believe she is not a good girl. You must be lying. *grin*

Enjoy your little baby's 2nd year.

I refuse to believe a child that cute could be naughty in any way, shape or form!

Hi Jen! I know, two years has just flown by hasn't it? She looks like an angel but... well, you know what I mean. How long till your big boy turn 21?

Wow Melody, I loved your cake for Monet. Much fancier than poor #2's! Ours had Hi-5 on the top, as that is her current obsession, as she was suitably impressed :)

LOL Kristin. You just keep believing that!

Hmmm. I thought I left a comment here the other day. What did I do wrong?

Oh well, it's obvious that she didn't want to shortchange you one moment of the terrible twos!

I find it so hard to believe that 2 years have gone by since I got that phone call from the hospital at 7:45 am that we had a new little (female!)neighbour - Elizabeth Claire. Miss you guys, XOXO Anne
