Happy Birthday to...

Max.

Our beautiful Max had his tenth birthday today and what else could we do but celebrate?

He received gifts of tennis balls, homemade cards and pictures from his human brother and sister and a lovely juicy bone.
We also made a birthday cake for the human members of the family. It was a chocolate fudge cake that was a little disappointing taste-wise but it looked great.

And if the applause and general noise level was any indication, the cheer squad was impressed.

We even had some friends over to help blow out the candles and join in the party.

Yeah we're kind of insane, but in a good way!

Aren´t 10 human years 70 dog-years? In that case: Happy birthday, oldtimer ;-)

Glad our first granddog had a happy birthday. We remember the first night he came home to his family and his dad sleeping in the back room with him that night.
What a special puppy he was and what a beautifl boy he is now.

Happy birthday to Max too!

I always celebrate my cat's birthday. Always!

They deserve it! Pets are family too! :)

Thanks Iris. He is starting to show his age but I guess that's understandable at 70!

LOL Nan, I remember that too! He still loves his puppy dog that much.

I knew you'd 'get it' Karen Beth!
