Adorable!

That's Offspring #1's newest word. He came out with it at the dinner table and ever so sweetly told his dad that he was "adorable". Sadly, he wasn't too sure of the meaning, but it sounded good.

#1's school had Crazy Hair Day today. They got to go to school with crazy hair and could dress in clothes to match their hair. They were asked to make a gold coin donation and the funds raised are to be given to charity. I wasn't prepared to break out the coloured hairspray - he's only in Year 1 and I figure he's got to have something to look forward to when he gets a bit bigger and these kind of events are held. Instead we used some styling mud and lots of Mum's hairspray to create some cool spikiness and he got to wear his surfie clothes. Our neighbour (aka Anne at #3) asked if I'd dressed him in red to match his hair! I hadn't even considered that LOL.

Here's a pic of my boy looking adorable.

How crazy is that?! :-)
("cute" might (no longer?) be the right word, no?)

I can´t remember we had anything like that over here at school - cool idea!
And more to come? Wow!

Don't you love it when the young ones come out with certain words that make you smile. Adorable would have to be one of those words...especially when directed in hubby's direction.
