That's What I Forgot!

I forgot to tell you that I got a new car...

Hubby's car finally died and this surprised absolutely no-one except Hubby. That meant we were down to one car and, for us, that was just not do-able. So, Hubby got his beloved Landy back and we went searching for a car that was lighter on fuel, had enough get-up-and-go to get up The Hill, and also met my most important requirement - was pretty.

We started looking at small-ish 4wheel-drives (um...SUV's? for the non-Aussies) but couldn't find anything I/we loved. Then we looked at little cars - Hubby was kind of keen, I was decidedly less so. Then we looked at bigger cars with a mind to getting a gas conversion. And then we found something completely different. As you do.

So here's my new car.

It's a Lancer wagon, a couple of years old and red. Because everyone knows red cars go faster.

Nice. Red cars do go faster. (You know I have a White Subaru Outback for sale don't you? I'm sure you would not have minded coming over to Victoria to pick it up and drive it home!)

Oh very nice... what ever happened to the humbel station wagon eh? They sorta dropped out of fashion, and all we were left with were these 'docked' versions - the sportified wagons, following allong the lines of the Ford Lasers as they changed! We really need one of these beasties too Mandi... those little people in our lives require alot of 'stuff' to keep THEM happy - and YOU sane!

Sheesh... ;-)

We looked at them Melody but... yeah Victoria's probably a bit far for a test drive LOL

We've had a couple of the 'real' station wagons Ron, and loved 'em. Just couldn't find one we loved this time round. And yeah, it's amazing how much stuff the wee ones need, isn't it?

That's not boring, Sheila. My last 5, yep five, have been white! No-one can quite believe I bought a red car, not even me.

LOL, Iris!

SNAP! You bought the same car as I have - I'm not sure if you remember it. Red cars might go faster - but black ones are cooler! LOL
