Because he's my gorgeous boy. Who is funny. And cute. And cuddly. And trying so hard to grow up before I'm ready to let him. And I love him with every little bit of my being.
I have to agree, he is gorgeous and I can't believe how fast he's growing up. How old is he now? And please tell me he has training wheels on his bike. When they go off on two wheels.....that's just too bittersweet. And I won't even mention when they get their driver's license. Oh me. Now I feel all weepy! (My two boys are 22 and 20....how'd that happen?)
Thanks, Melody. I just love this photo, it's totally HIM.
Hey Jen! He's six-and-a-half and in year 2 at school. The training wheels came off a long time ago and one of his biggest delights is doing great big sideways skids up and down the gravel driveway!

I know what you mean too. I'm not ready for Nick to go to kindergarten this year.
