The Lighter Side

You kind of have to have first hand knowledge of the workings of a a four-year old's brain to fully appreciate this one but... here goes.
We broke the news to Offspring #2 who didn't miss a beat before asking if that meant we were going to get another dog. Now.
I told her yes, we would be getting another dog but not right now.
She wanted to know when.
I said later.
She asked if that meant we were going to have afternoon tea first.
And through the tears, in that first couple of horrible hours, her Daddy and I laughed.

So cute, glad you could laugh. We had our dog cremated and he sits in a lovely wooden box on our bookshelf next to our cat in his urn. The kids often talk about him being there and remember the silly stuff he used to do. Very sweet. Hope you guys are going OK. xx

Good!

Cos a good laugh is well needed - and who better to give it to you than those with the freshest brains in the household eh?!

Gotta love the little people...

Laughter IS the best medicine. Of course, it doesn't prevent future tears, but it can ease the ache a little now.
